Famous Interior Designers

I chose Thad Hayes to research as my famous interior designer. I like that Hayes does a modern look of interior designing. He does not have bold colors that are overwhelming, but it looks nice and well put together. I also like how the relationships with his clients are important to him. All clients should feel special, and feel like they are getting the attention they need.
Hayes has his own company called Thad Hayes. Hayes is still in business today. Hayes attended Louisiana State University School of Environmental Design. He practiced his landscaping architecture techniques New York City, and then studied at Parsons School of Design. There he learned about interior design and really got his career rolling. Before he started his own business, he worked at Bray-Schaible Design in 1982, and then later on developed his own business a couple years later in 1985. Thad Hayes was honored one of the “AD 100” and was named one of the “Deans of Design” by Arquitectural Digest Magazine. Thads work is simple and modern but very unique. He does not have a lot of “poppy” colors which is nice; it’s very calm and soothing. Three projects he has done in the past are a living room called, 5th Avenue Residence, a dining room that’s called, Central Park West Residence, and a landscape of outside a house called, Wainscot Residence. I really like the space and unity he uses in each kind of work he does, even if they are warm colors with no bold/bright color. There is always some kind of object or the emphasis in the room and it looks really nice. This living room doesn’t have a specific name, but it is a Long-Island Beach House, that Thad Hayes designed. It was designed in April 2009.
